We cordially invite you to submit your research papers for presentation at the 9^th annual Vietnam International Conference in Finance (VICIF 2025), which will take place on July 3-4, 2025, at Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa on the beautiful white sandy Non-Nuoc Beach, Danang City, Vietnam.

The VICIF-2025 conference is jointly organized by the Vietnam Finance Association International (VFAI), Foreign Trade University, University of Economics – the University of Danang, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, International University – Vietnam National University HCMC, and College of Business & Management – VinUniversity.

The conference will be held in person, offering a valuable opportunity for academics, doctoral students, and practitioners to share their latest research findings, engage in discussions on current issues, and explore emerging trends in finance and related fields. The conference will foster an open and collaborative environment, encouraging networking, collaboration, and the exchange of innovative ideas. We welcome submissions from scholars worldwide in all areas of finance, including, but not limited to:

• Corporate finance and governance
• Asset pricing, investment, and portfolio management
• Finance and sustainability
• Financial markets and institutions
• Financial technology, artificial intelligence, and big data
• Banking and financial regulations
• Behavioral finance
• Risk management and quantitative finance
• Household finance and financial consumer protection

Paper submission: Please submit your full papers (in English) by no later than March 31, 2024, via the conference website (http://vicif2025.sciencesconf.org). Submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed.

Important dates:

• March 31, 2025: Deadline for paper submission
• April 20, 2025: Notification of acceptance/rejection
• May 10, 2025: Registration deadline
• July 3-4, 2025: Conference event

The conference organizers, in consultation with the Editor of the Pacific-Basin Finance Journal (PBFJ), will invite the authors of high-quality papers presented at the conference to submit their manuscripts for review with PBFJ.

Best paper awards: Presented papers will be considered for the following awards:

• Best Paper Award in Asset Pricing, Investment, Fintech, and Artificial Intelligence

Keynote speaker: Professor Zacharias Sautner, Professor of Sustainable Finance at University of Zurich and Senior Chair at the Swiss Finance Institute.

Zacharias works on sustainable finance, ESG, climate finance, and biodiversity finance. Through his research, he provides insights on how finance can contribute to a more sustainable future. His research was downloaded more than 110,000 times on SSRN and published in leading international journals, including the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Financial Economics. He is an Associate Editor at the Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, a Regular Research Visitor at the ECB, and an advisor of asset management companies on sustainable finance issues. He serves as a Director of the European Finance Association.
